Yep, It's Snowing!!!

I can NOT believe this is happening! And showing no sign of stopping! On top of it, my mouth is killing me from the dentist this morning. The one positive thing is that I've won 3 TIMES already this morning on Swagbucks!

What???? You don't know what Swagbucks is? Well, you absolutely HAVE to read my swagbucks posts throughout my blog, then sign up through my referral link on the side of this page. It's the best way to make the internet profitable for you!

Here's the proof of the snow...these pics are 2 hours apart!

Spring Has NOT Sprung in Vermont!

Well, I thought it had, but I was wrong. Spring in VT is my least favorite time of year. I love this state, I really do, but I do not love spring here. We just had the most glorious weekend---sunshine, slight breeze, 65 degrees...it was absolutely perfect. We mowed the lawn, bought plants and bulbs to put into the ground, played at the playground, went on walks, and ate creemees! (For those of you not from New England, a creemee is a soft-serve ice cream in a cone.) It truly felt like spring and despite the huge amounts of pollen making me sneeze my head off, I felt happy. (yes, i suffer from SAD, seasonal affective disorder)

Until this morning, when I pulled up the weather report and saw the most unbelievable news---a WINTER STORM WATCH for Tuesday through Wednesday, with 6-12 inches of heavy wet snow!!! Seriously, I wanted to sit down and cry. I can only hope that they will be wrong---just 10 degrees warmer and it will be just rain.

Don't believe me? Check back tomorrow when I post pics of the proof! Below is a pic of my backyard this morning, in the beautiful sun. Good thing I didn't plant those bulbs yet!

Mondays Bite.

So far today, I've had to fish a Ring Pop out of the pee-filled toilet with my hand, return a forgotten homework folder to my daughter at school, open an empty mailbox where my paycheck should have been, and suffer through an embarrassing 3 year-old meltdown while the cashier/trainee stared at my coupons like they were UFOs from space. Yup, it's a Monday, and it's not even done yet. How's yours going?

I thought I had lost that "blogging feeling" between work, a head cold, and just a general grouchy, brain-dead, writer's block. But, I really like to hear myself talk, so I'm gonna try to get back into this thing! And I might as well make it profitable for you, since you're so kind to take time out of your day to read this!

Today is Mega Swag Bucks Day!!!! That means, if you sign up through my referral link on the side of this page, and start searching, you could win big today! (((ATTENTION: If you have already signed up under me, why have you stopped searching and winning? I am proof that it really works.))) Every Friday is Mega Swag Bucks Day and its always more profitable if you are a new user...although this morning, I did win a 30-spot, which was fabuloso! And, right now, there is a Swag code/hunt going on until 5 pm PST. After you become a Swag Bucks member, read the latest blog post and you will get hints on how to find the code, which is worth a 10-spot.

To make your Swag Bucks experience the best it can be (read: most profitable), make sure that you sign up for the newsletter, download the toolbar (NO VIRUSES), become a fan of Swag Bucks on Facebook (this page is most helpful), and follow Swag Bucks on Twitter. If you need any help with learning this very fun and worthwhile website, read the FAQ and then come ask me for tips!

Since October 2009, I have won $85 worth of Amazon giftcards. I've purchased music, toys, clothing, and other fun stuff----all for free! It's been a blast spending that Amazon money on myself and my family! ALL FREE!!! Just for searching through the website a few times a day and hunting for codes. And to make it even more profitable, you can get your own referrals signed up under you, do tasks in the Special Offers section, and shop through Swag Bucks to earn even more!

Really, ask yourself, how much time do you spend on the Internet every day? Is it more than five hours? Well, why not make that time work for you? Why not, essentially, get paid to search the 'Net? Ask yourself, can I really complain about the economy, or being unemployed, if I'm not doing everything I can to help out myself and my family?

The next time I get something in the mail from Amazon that I paid for with Swag bucks, I will definitely post a pic! Right now, I only have $10 in my Amazon account, but it's burning a hole in my pocket....so we'll see how long it lasts! :)
